Firstly I'd like to share that Suzanne Fortune is well versed in the real estate field. I had so many questions for her and she was able to answer every single one flawlessly. We were looking for a realtor that was experienced in the market in our area of Edmonds. We chose Suzanne, after meeting with several other agents, because she exuded confidence and experience in the areas of marketing, staging/contractor coordination, and negotiation. This move was not planned but needed to happen. We needed a realtor who could quickly get up to speed with our priorities and guide us through the steps of selling a beautiful home. Suzanne was recommended from another source, which I didn't know well, but the very first meeting with her made it clear the recommendation was solid. She walked through the house as I took pages of notes on all her recommendations for how to get the best sale of the property. Her suggestions became my business plan for getting it done, and it never would have happened without her patient coaching. Suzanne pointed us to many things we didn't know to do, but which brought us to the very end we sought. She stayed with us till the end, sometimes gently pressed me on things that were hard to accept. But she knew what she was doing, and we reaped the benefit of her suggestions. And I admired Suzanne for not hesitating to pull in additional opinions from the depth of her team when needed. An unexpected benefit of working with Suzanne was all the other trade experts she's connected with - painter, gardener, cabinet worker, handyman, window cleaner, etc. etc. We used every one of her recommended resources. They did excellent work, they didn't price gouge, and I'll continue to use them when needed. In the end, my objectives were fully accomplished - not just getting the right value from the house but doing it in a way that left me feeling good about how people were treated and how the transactions were executed. Suzanne holds herself to high standards, which supported the way I wanted things to go. She's both fair to those involved, and passionate for her client's best outcomes. I'm truly amazed at how Suzanne puts so much of herself into what she does. It is not common, but she's in her element. The world needs more like Suzanne.
